The Claudettes have earned worldwide acclaim with their recordings that mix blues and R&B with punk-rock spirit and film-noir moods to create their seductive sound with hooks that you never see coming and earworms galore. As acclaimed as their records are however, they’re best known for their captivating concerts that are equal parts heart, musicianship and theatrical flair.

Texas-born Rachel Williams stuns like a glam-rock rebirth of Annie Lennox, dazzling with her soulful vocals, 6-foot frame, mohawk hair and sparkling costumes. Band founder/songwriter Johnny Iguana is one of the world’s top blues pianists. Recruited at the age of 23 by Junior Wells for his touring band, he’s also toured with Otis Rush and recorded with Buddy Guy, Mick Jagger, Johnny Winter, and Derek Trucks. He’s also the composer of the score for the hit Emmy-winning FX/Hulu series “The Bear”!

Along with the deep-groove rhythm section of Zach Verdoorn (bass, guitar, vocals) and Michael Caskey (drums), this lineup is one of the most boldly original and intoxicating bands in American roots music today!

“Most intriguing and most difficult to describe. I hear so many levels of what I consider amazing creativity. What these four have done is no small feat. If it doesn’t grab you then I don’t know what will!” – No Depression

“A skewed cabaret band of Blues, Jazz and Rockabilly. A sensibility that feels like equal parts James Dean and David Lynch.” — Minneapolis Star-Tribune

“There aren’t too many albums that can remind you of both The Cramps and Patsy Cline.” – Tom Haugen / Daily Vault
