Umphrey’s McGee

Chicago’s eclectic rock band Umphrey’s McGee has been keeping fans on their toes fornearly 27 years now. Though often pigeonholed into “jam band” circles, Umphrey’s doesn’tfit that traditional mold; and their fans don’t either. Is it prog rock? Song-forward,Beatles-esque arrangements? Be careful, they might hit you with some metal riffs mid-set,too. Amongst 2,500+ gigs and 300 million+ tracks streamed, you-had-to-be-there momentsinclude the band’s performance at the first-ever Bonnaroo and selling more CDs (rememberthose?) than any other act on the bill. A leader in the live music world, Umphrey’s McGeebecame the first group to launch its own single-artist streaming service with UMLive.net,which houses recordings of every gig since 2005. The service has since grown and now lives on through Nugs.net, which is used by the likes of Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, and more.   Beyond intimate backstage encounters and ski trips with their most diehard fans, Umphrey’s McGee instituted the groundbreaking “Headphones & Snow cones” program, granting fans access to professional headphones and a soundboard-quality mix to listen wirelessly at shows. At their UMBowl, they empowered the audience to vote on the setlist in real-timeand choose favorite improv themes via text message. In 2017, they stepped into another realm altogether by integrating themselves into the VR Platform Endless Riff. All of the above has earned the band status as kings of the live music scene with standing yearly engagements at iconic venues, their own events in Iceland (Rockjavick) and Mexico (Holidaze), and co-hosting Chillicothe, IL’s long-running Summer Camp festival. In April 2025, Umphrey’s McGee will lead their faithful fans on another bucket list musical adventure: Morockshow will feature three nights in Marrakech, Morocco, marking another signature event in an exotic location. Umphrey’s McGee’s latest release Asking For A Friend showcases more evolved songwriting and thoughtful arranging from a bandcontinuing to grow and mature with their droves of die-hard, longtime fans.

Leafblower

Leafblower’s the band and Tim’s the mascot. A master leaf blower, blowing fog all over your good times, with leafblower the band as the soundtrack: four dudes in jumpsuit uniforms. Think Kraftwerk meets yard work, plus Busch Light, with noise guitars instead of synths. It’s dissonant stuff, reverb fed through tin cans and amplified. Take the roughest looking dudes in your neighborhood (shovel man from home alone but drunker, with unlimited gasoline). And there’s four of them. Those poor kids inadvertently seeing leafblower descend into their practice space are going to need major psychiatric work to undo their deep-seated fears of all things lawn associated. And that’s without even hearing the music. Leafblower is loud. It is an experience. Listening to them is like holding an industrial leaf blower, 64cc and gas powered. The ones that strap to your back. Pulling that starting rope, jumpsuit on. Unleashing fury. Fuck you, leaf-litter. You got that beast cranking and everyone walking by crosses to the other side of the street. That is leafblower. – Paul Hansen

flipturn

The Burnout Days Pre-Show VIP Experience includes:  ● One (1) General Admission OR – Premium Balcony Ticket ● Invitation to pre-show VIP experience with flipturn, including:  – Unplugged soundcheck performance of songs not on the setlist (2-3 songs)  – Q&A session  – Merch bundle, curated by the band  – Commemorative VIP laminate  – Merchandise shopping prior to doors opening to the public  – Early entry into the venue    For flipturn, success didn’t arrive overnight. The band, comprised of Dillon Basse (lead vocals, guitar), Tristan Duncan (lead guitar), Mitch Fountain (synth, guitar), Madeline Jarman (bass), and Devon VonBalson (drums), grew steadily with every gig, from college house shows in their home state of Florida to festival appearances at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits, to national recognition from Jimmy Kimmel Live, ABC News, and The Washington Post – earning the Jacksonville-based band an international reputation as an indie rock powerhouse. By the time flipturn released their debut album, Shadowglow, they’d become genuine road warriors while still in their mid-20s, supporting the record with a nonstop string of tour dates. That dizzying experience inspired the band’s second release, Burnout Days. Caught halfway between 21st century indie rock, New Wave-inspired nostalgia, and rhythmic alt-pop, Burnout Days finds the beauty that exists between five friends, even in times of burnout.

Yoke Lore – CANCELED

Los Angeles based, and New York raised indie pop project Yoke Lore is the solo musical venture of Adrian Galvin, previously of Yellerkin and Walk the Moon. Yoke Lore layers like Bon Iver, beats like M83, and gets to the heart of things like Phoebe Bridgers does. Galvin’s songs combine echoing waves of banjo, vocals, and percussion to create arresting pop music with tactile candor and conviction. Galvin grew up in an artistic family, his mother a director and his father an actor and sculptor. He was immersed in painting, photography, and ballet from an early age, eventually finding his first musical passion in the drums. While pursuing music, his artistry in other disciplines has not faltered, even lending his own designs to all his music’s cover art, as well as choreographing & dancing for some of his music videos. Galvin tours non-stop, playing shows and festivals spanning North America and Europe. His music has amassed 450M+ streams and he has earned an RIAA Gold certification for his hit song “Beige”.

nightlife

Dubbed “one of the most exciting bands in the alternative scene right now” by MTV, nightlife tests rock music’s boundaries by weaponizing retrofuturism, golden-era soul, and modern rock sensibilities to make a soulpunk sound that drips with groove, catharsis, and swagger. the band burst onto the alt underground in 2021 with a thesis statement in “new low,” a rose-colored, disco-tinged take on the thick, bottom-heavy post-hardcore popularized by bands like Issues, Sleep Token, and Bad Omens in the late 2010s. every song they’ve released since has sent a shockwave through the rock & r&b communities, seamlessly blending different forms of current r&b and soul into their ever-evolving sound & leading Kerrang! Magazine to call them “one of the artists shaping rock music right now.” The band has quickly built a reputation as a show-stopping live act, bringing their unique approach to tours with the likes of Rain City Drive, Outline in Color, FOXCULT, and more. powered by guitarists Julian Lofton (he/him) & Dan Macon’s (he/him) fluid basslines and drummer Isaiah Walker’s (he/him) pocket-based beats, nightlife’s rhythmic backbone meets vocalist Hansel Romero’s (they/them) dynamic style and experimental production to create music that feels alive – that scratches an itch only nightlife can.
