Here is excitement, devastation, understanding, and the dawn’s rays of redemption in 44 minutes—a record that, at last, commits the full rapture of Future Islands to tape. From their start, Future Islands have been singular and instantly identifiable. Samuel T. Herring’s life-worn croons and cries backlit by Gerrit Welmers’ melodies and charged by the rhythms of William Cashion and Michael Lowry. That premise hasn’t changed on People Who Aren’t There Anymore, but the people have. There’s a pain and a joy that’s in Herring’s voice that’s only been rivaled by their legendary live performances, but never captured in their studio albums, that feels like it’s been untethered for the first time. Future Islands have played nearly 1,500 shows – shows that have bruised bodies, frayed vocal cords, provided escapes for audiences, and healed their messengers. People Who Aren’t There Anymore is a major work from a band at an inflection point: they’re discovering new ways to experience the world, because the old ways weren’t working. That freedom has led to the most fully realized, most transparently honest statement in their 17 years as a band.
Public Figure

Public Figure Once upon a time, February of 2019 to be exact, Public Figure was born. Since then, the band has released multiple singles across all streaming platforms starting with their 2021 release of “Poor and Pretty.” Comprised of Vocalist Roger Slatten, Guitarist Robert “RJ” Klingsporn, Bassist Dolan Delano, and Drummer John Faist, Public Figure is looking to take the music scene by storm. We’re a High-Energy, Band who will make you lose your voices with our catchy choruses and exhaust you from all the jumping, moshing, and dancing you will do at our shows. No… Seriously… Hydrate before you come to our show. We don’t want you passing out. Out in Front Out in Front are a Los Angeles based band that serendipitously met at a tennis club-where they are all tennis pros. Starting off by jamming in a garage, the three band members, Madie, Isaiah, and Ryen, immediately knew they had something together. Coming from all different roots and having various tastes in music, the band has unique inspirations. Nonetheless, they all have one major thing in common– their passion for music. Blending Southern California sounds with pop- rock influences, Out in Front makes music that sparks the desire to take a trip down the PCH. A Band Called Hemingway Four piece Alternative band from Nebraska.
Between The Buried and Me
Time may move in a circle, but we pick up wisdom along the way. When we face similar situations further down the line, we’re armed with the experience to not only survive, but actually thrive. Between The Buried and Me built their influential 2007 album, Colors, on an unwavering commitment to artistic integrity. They’ve only fortified that commitment on its 2021 sequel, Colors II. The circumstances surrounding both records bear key similarities, yet the North Carolina quintet—Tommy Rogers [lead vocals, keyboards], Paul Waggoner [lead and rhythm guitar, backing and lead vocals], Dustie Waring [rhythm and lead guitar], Blake Richardson [drums], and Dan Briggs [bass, keyboards]—once again stretch the boundaries of their signature sound and heavy music at large.
Ace Monroe
American rock n’ roll band Ace Monroe is getting people up and dancing all across the country with their swingin’ gritty guitar riffs, soaring vocals, and an electrifying larger-than-life show. The quintet consists of Robbie Dylan (lead vocals), Josh Alfano (lead guitar), Jack Kaiser (rhythm guitar, vocals), Jonathan Tatooles (drums), and Erik McIntyre (bass). Expect no facades, no mysticism, no pretenses. Expect only one thing with Ace Monroe — sleek, unapologetic, hard-driving music that not only rocks, but rolls.
