Missing Singer

“Missing Singer” is a music group formed by 2 long time members of the Omaha based group Normandy Invasion originally formed by Al Ficke and Dan Norman also including Paul D’Angelo in 1991. Normandy Invasion prided itself on the fact that all of their music was original. After the passing of Dan Norman, Ficke and D’Angelo made the decision to continue playing together and invited Bonnie Parish to join them on vocals while Ficke became chief singer/songriter/ guitarist and Paul D’Angelo on drums. The group plays a nice mix of Al Ficke’s Original Americana/Folk music as well as some nice covers from some of their favorite artists, like John Prine, Tom Waits, Willie Nelson, Guy Clark and even a few Winona songs, in addition to newer songwriters like Parker Milsap “Missing Singer” loves to invite friends and musicians to play with them whenever they can, celebrating the joy of being part of a great community of singers and songwriter who lift each other up and have a lot of fun together. Their band name, “Missing Singer”, is a tribute to Dan Norman good friend and band mate who we lost in 2024. We look forward to telling stories and sharing our love for music with more friends in the years to come.

Pixel Grip

Formed in 2019Rita Lukea (Vocals)・Jonathon Freund (Synth) ・Tyler Ommen (Drums) Pixel Grip’s sound is both seductive and confrontational – a dark, club-driven sound that blends elementsof synth-pop, EBM (electronic body music), house, and industrial into their own edgy, danceable, andimmersive ethos. Pixel Grip is known for their high-energy live performances and moody, avant-garde aesthetic. In 2024they toured as direct support to noise-rock contemporaries, HEALTH. Followed by a (sold out) NorthAmerican headline run of their own, which included a stop at the iconic punk festival RIOT Fest. Oftenexploring themes of desire, power, and liberation, underground cult classics such as “ALPHAPUSSY” &“Demon Chaser” have been used in campaigns by fashion powerhouses such as VERSACE & AlexanderVauthier. Relentless touring and placements with major brands have helped push Pixel Grip to theforefront of indie music. Pixel Grip’s ensuing LP (Summer 2025) arrives as they prepare to expand theirreach into the EU & UK for the first time. On their third album, Percepticide the Death of Reality, the Chicago-trio looks within and around at ashifting landscape of fragmented perceptions and social disengagement. The album marks an importantpart in each of their lives, both musically and personally. Recorded over three years in Los Angeles &Chicago, each member privately faced their own demons, including betrayal, addiction, and neglect.”Percepticide” a portmanteau – a term that originates from – “percipere” (to perceive) and -cide (to kill)– in essence “the killing of perception.” ‘Percepticide’ is a cognitive distortion and a symptom of trauma – beliefs you hold to be true areshattered – as you question everyone and everything around you. My dream is that the expression of myrage can help someone else feel empowered and at the very least, less alone. You’re never stuck, andyou’re never alone, say Lukea.

That 1 Guy

With an extensive and amazing track record of unique and imaginative performances featuring his curious instrument and copious amounts of originality, Mike Silverman, a/k/a That1Guy, has set himself apart as a true one-of-a-kind talent that rivals any other artist currently in the entertainment industry. Averaging 150-200 shows a year all over North America and Canada, he has been a consistent favorite at such festivals as: Wakarusa, Electric Forest, Big Day out, All Good Music Festival, Bella, High Sierra Music Festival, Summer Meltdown, Montreal Jazz Festival, and many more. He was also the ʻTap Water Award’ winner at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for best musical act. His legendary collaboration and multiple tours with Buckethead performing as The Frankenstein Brothers has further cemented his virtuoso story as a creative visionary. His innovation continues to soar with his latest tour, That1Guy & The Magic Pipe Present: An Evening of Musical Magical Wonder… The Likes of Which Ye Haven’t Yet Seen, which kicked off in 2014. Along with his pioneeringmain instrument, The Magic Pipe, a monstrosity of metal, strings, and electronics, he facilitates the dynamic live creation of music and magic in ways only That1Guy can conjure. You can also expect to see magic seamlessly integrated into the already clever performance. With the addition of magic in his live shows, he has legitimately achieved an all-inclusive audio/visual performance unlike anything experienced before. “So much of my music has miraculous qualities to it because it’s hard to tell what’s going on. There are lots of slights of hand and sonic misdirection. It feels like I was meant to do magic”. Silverman’s back-story is similar to many musicians that have come before him. He grew up a self-proclaimed music geek, soaked in the influence of his jazz musician father, and enrolled in San Francisco Conservatory of Music before joining the local jazz scene himself as a sought-after percussive bassist. This is where the similarities end though and where That1Guy truly began. “In my case, being a bass player, I just felt very restricted by the instrument itself,” he says. “I’ve always wanted to sound different and have my own sound. I was headed that way on the bass, but for me to fully realize what I was hearing in my head sonically I was going to have to do it my way”. His influential and innovative double bass style eventually evolved into what we see today as That1Guy and The Magic Pipe. As his story continues to develop, Billboard has famously noted, “In the case of Mike Silverman’s slamming, futuristic funk act… the normal rules of biology just don’t apply.” In addition, Silverman also has new music and videos in the works for 2015 that will further validate his status as an industry trailblazer. “I like being my own person”, he says. “I didn’t set out to be a weirdo, but I’m starting to embrace it”. Ultimately, his motivation can be encapsulated as this: “Human beings do our best work when we’re challenged and pushed up against the wall”. That1Guy goes on to further explain, “By nature, we’re hunters and gatherers, spending each day looking for their next meal. It’s easy to be lazy when you don’t have to come up with something creative right away.”

Jeshua Marshall & the Flood

Most artists will tell you that they sing about what they feel. Jeshua Marshall lives the music that he sings. From the time he was nine, when he was first inspired by a visit from Jimi Hendrix in a dream and subsequently gifted his first guitar, through to the formation of his band Larry and His Flask and now, some 20 years later, music has been a mainstay of his life, the thing that’s inspired him, driven him and now, brought him to the precipice of the recognition he so decidedly deserves.  He’s worked tirelessly to get to this point. He and his band toured relentlessly, performing in all 50 states in the U.S., every providence in Canada, no less than 15 European countries, and in parts of the Middle East. A multi-instrumentalist, singe,r and songwriter, he conveys both passion and purpose in equal measure.  His efforts paid off. He garnered over 100,000 streams on Spotify and YouTube, before receiving an ultimate honor, the ‘Best New Artist’ award from People’s Choice Award in his hometown of Bend, Oregon. It also found him sharing stages with artists such as Dirtwire, Fishbone, Willy Tea Taylor, Beats Antique, Joshua Ray Walker, Possessed by Paul James, Danny Attack, Bridge City Sinners, and more.  Now, on the verge of making the next significant step in his career, Jeshua remains more committed to his craft than ever. “Music, for me, is medicine, therapy and connection,” he says.  With The Flood, that wave of inspiration is as awash as ever.
