Hayden Pedigo: man, myth, master of disguise; un-picker, finger-picker, absurdist, perfectionist. An innovator of the instrumental genre, challenger of the stereotypical, son of a truck-stop preacher. His new album, ‘I’ll Be Waving As You Drive Away’ is, Hayden reflects, not a straightforward solo guitar record, but in a sense “a micro-dose psychedelic album.” Unafraid to push the parameters of American primitive, the walls of the album’s world are fuzzed-up and glimmering. Pedigo’s trademark, highly skilled guitar compositions, more intricate than ever, are augmented by influences he’s never been able to achieve on previous records, drawing strongly from the uncanny psychedelia of larger-than-life culture in the American South, so often bigger, stranger, more unnerving than fiction. Throughout ‘I’ll Be Waving As You Drive Away’, moments of genre-defying, unapologetic exuberance are carefully balanced with delicacy and intricacy.
Carrellee
Carrellee is an ethereal synth-pop and darkwave artist based in Madison, WI. Her debut album “Scale of Dreams” was released in 2022 on Negative Gain Productions (Twin Tribes). The album quickly sold out (and was repressed) as she embarked on 200 dates across the US and Canada from 2022 into 2024. Highlights included performing at Coldwaves Festival in Chicago, Verboden Festival in Vancouver where Drab Majesty headlined, as well as shows with IAMX, Glass Spells, Actors, Vision Video, Snooper, Patriarchy, ETC. The album is largely mixed by Maurizio Baggio (Boy Harsher, Nuovo Testamento), and mastered by Josh Bonati (Slowdive, Drab Majesty). It includes songs produced and mixed by Matia Simovich (Boy Harsher, Riki) on “Like A Ghost,” by IAMX collaborator, Ryan McCambridge on “Bonnie & Clyde,” and ex-Smashing Pumpkin’s guitarist Jeff Schroeder on “You Win.” Carrellee is currently playing synth in IAMX. IAMX will be touring Europe and America this year with over 50 dates currently planned.
Hippie Sabotage – Echoes of Time Tour
Hippie Sabotage is an electronic music duo comprised of brothers Kevin and Jeff Saurer. They began their journey as bedroom producers in middle school, inspired by the music featured in their favorite skateboarding videos. Over the years, they have developed a genre-blending sound that fuses electronic music with hip-hop and psych-rock influences. The duo first gained international recognition with their remix of Tove Lo’s “Habits (Stay High),” which has amassed over 1 billion views on YouTube and 1.6 billion streams on Spotify since its release. Their tracks “Devil Eyes,” “Life Happens,” and “Options” have further contributed to their success, helping them secure over 13 billion streams worldwide. Following the release of their 2023 album Trailblazer, they collaborated with A.G. Club and Izzy Bizu and executive produced the album Sleep Paralysis for TDE’s Kembe X. In the summer of 2024, they surprised fans with No Judgement, a mixtape inspired by their love for Hawaii. Known for their high-energy live performances, Hippie Sabotage embarked on a massive 46- date North American tour in early 2024, culminating in a sold-out show at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Clan of Xymox
Clan of Xymox is a Dutch band formed in 1981 in Nijmegen, Netherlands. The band originally started under the name Xymox and was founded by Ronny Moorings. Their music is often classified as darkwave, gothic rock, and synth-pop, and they are known for their moody, atmospheric sound and introspective lyrics. In 1983, the band released their self-titled debut album “Subsequent Pleasures” and gained attention in the emerging gothic music scene. The album featured a dark, ethereal sound that would become their signature style. The band’s name was changed to Clan of Xymox after signing with the U.K. independent label 4AD. In 1985 Clan of Xymox released their second album, “Clan of Xymox ” which included the hit song “A Day.” The album helped establish the band’s reputation within the gothic / dark wave music scene and gained them a dedicated following. Over the years, Clan of Xymox has experienced various lineup changes, with Ronny Moorings being the only constant member. The band has continued to release albums and tour regularly, maintaining a strong fan base around the world. Clan of Xymox’s music often explores themes of love, loss, and introspection, and they are known for their melancholic and atmospheric soundscapes. Their influence can be heard in the work of many contemporary darkwave and gothic bands. Throughout their long career, Clan of Xymox has remained active and continues to be an important and influential presence in the gothic/ dark wave music genre.
