Coyote Butterfly, the new album by Omaha singer-songwriter, Simon Joyner will be released on November 22nd, 2024. The record is a tribute to his late son, Owen, who died in August of 2022. In creating an album of such intimacy, Joyner reminds us of the importance of using art to alchemize the deeply personal into transformative beauty. Coyote Butterfly is a powerful evocation of a father’s grief but also serves as an enduring testament to love and the life that endures after loss. This will be a special, seated show and likely the only performance of the album in its entirety.
The band for the album and the release show is composed of several of Simon’s closest friends and longtime collaborators including Michael Krassner, David Nance, James Schroeder, and Kevin Donahue.
This is an early show and features an NA-only special menu at the bar. All the profits from the tickets will be donated to the Arch Alumni Association, a non-profit organization whose mission is supporting former members of the Arch Halfway House.
