For the past 25 years, Queens-based Bayside has represented a lifestyle, a counterculture, and a deeply-held commitment to integrity and earnestness. At their core, Bayside is a band that has constantly proven that music is not about gimmicks and ephemeral trends, but a timeless reflection of our life and our times. It is through this authentic expression and creative spirit that the band has amassed a cult-following that lives and breathes everything the band creates. It’s a spirit that permeates an impressive and storied discography, including Sirens and Condolences (2004), Bayside (2005), The Walking Wounded (2007) and Shudder (2008). Covering the “Victory Records Years,” Bayside grew their reputation as road warriors with their impressive amount of touring. From basements to clubs to Warped Tour, the band led melodious sing-alongs everywhere they went, with fans flocking to Anthony Raneri’s personal, yet universal lyrics and story-telling. Fan favorites like “Devotion and Desire” and “Duality” continue to be staples in the bands’ live show. While the band held strong to their punk roots, what set them apart from their peers was their musicianship. Diverse in thought and background, but united in a shared desire for authentic expression and immense musical talent, Bayside continues to push the boundaries of what a Bayside song could be. In the second half of their legendary career, covering the “Wind-Up and Hopeless Records Years,” Bayside embraced the heavier and grittier side of themselves, while keeping the anthemic choruses of the earlier years. With Killing Time (2011), Cult (2014), Vacancy (2016), Interrobang (2019), and There Are Worse Things Than Being Alive (2024), the band focused on creating songs that are relevant to people who want substance, rather than being relegated to one genre. In 2023, the band even collaborated with Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills on their rock anthem, “How To Ruin Everything (Patience)” – their first song charting at Sirius XM Octane. Having toured the world multiple times over, sold thousands of albums, and amassed millions of streams, Bayside has achieved a lot in their storied career. And while many bands would coast on their past success, Bayside has always rejected that premise and continues to prove time and again that the best is yet to come.
Macseal + Ben Quad
Hailing from Long Island, New York, Macseal has built a reputation for making expertly crafted indie rock that bridges the gap between emo and power-pop, resulting in a coffee-fueled 2000s coming-of-age sound that energizes audiences, encouraging them to crowd surf and nod along. In 2024, Macseal followed up their debut album ‘Super Enthusiast’ (2019) with ‘Permanent Repeat,’ an album that served as an outlet for the band to emotionally and musically reflect on their lives at their own pace. On ‘Permanent Repeat,’ Macseal pairs the sound of early 2000s pop rock with more modern twists and turns, condensing big themes such as longing, existential dread, and falling in love into moments that can be played on a loop. Playing songs from across their discography, Macseal’s Audiotree Live performance illustrates the evolution of their sound, combining layered math-rock elements with emo vulnerability to create accessible, feel-good tracks. But none of those things matter if the songs don’t connect with the listener. And this collection of songs are going to do just that. From the opening notes of the first song the cards are on the table. The objective is clear – The Iron Roses are putting to words and music all the thoughts you’ve had these last few dark years. With the worldwide political climate leaning further and further from the left. With rights for many being limited and destroyed. With no end in sight. When opportunity knocks, Philly natives Goalkeeper are the ones answering the door. Ryan Beebe (Singer/Bassist), MarcJuliano (Guitarist), and Cody Ritchie (Drummer) came together at a critical point to create a storm of melodic hooks and hard-hitting pure pop punk. Finding inspiration in the expanding genre, Goalkeeper wants to prove there’s still new sounds to be heard, and focuses on tight, driving song writing. Their music emphasizes a refined, fervent sound influenced by early pop punk front runners, with lyrics that are fixated on introspective growth. Goalkeeper has supported such bands such as State Champs, The Starting Line, Hit The Lights, Real Friends, Winona Fighter, Driveways, With Confidence and more. Capture This is a pop punk band from Denver Colorado, consisting or Andrew, Alex, Leah, and Zach. Locally, they grew quickly, landing shows with The Plain White T’s, The Spill Canvas, Knox, and even playing with Wet Leg and Bob Moses at the Mission Ballroom. One of the most exciting and electrifying bands in the occult metal scene, SAVAGE MASTER swiftly built an impressive canon of work by releasing two cult albums, an EP, and over-the-top live shows. Founded in 2013 by guitarist Adam Neal and vocalist Stacey Savage, the band was inspired by their love of heavy metal and horror.
