GRRRL CAMP partners with 1% Productions to bring Indigo De Souza, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Shannon and the Clams and more on July 19 & 20, at Falconwood Park!

Music, Art, Vendors, Workshops and Camping; GRRRL CAMP announces music lineup to celebrate and empower women from the Midwest and beyond, as it returns in its second year at Falconwood Park, July 19 & 20.

Bellevue, NE: GRRRL Camp is a festival celebrating and empowering women in music, art, and business – from all backgrounds – and for everyone. The music and arts festival returns and expands for two days, and partners with 1% Productions to bring nationally renowned acts in its second year.

GRRRL CAMP take place at Falconwood Park located in Bellevue, NE, just 10 minutes from Downtown Omaha. Featuring Indigo De Souza, Mannequin Pussy, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Shannon and the Clams, along with a number of other touring and emerging artists. 1% Productions, who produces the Outlandia music festival, also held at Falconwood Park, came on board to back the curation of GRRRL CAMP’s 2024 music lineup.

“This year will look very different from last year, and we’re excited about that.”, says Shannon Claire, Falconwood Park Executive Director/Talent Buyer; Founder of GRRRL CAMP. “Last year’s event was amazing; seeing how everyone came together in such a short amount of time inspired us to elevate the festival for 2024; with 1% productions’ support, we’re bringing in acts that we wouldn’t be able to otherwise and it will set the tone for the future. ”.

The festival headliner Indigo De Souza’s 2023 album “All of this Will End” was on several 2023 Best of Albums lists. Rolling Stone, Stereogum, Pitchfork, and others such as Paste, Under the Radar, and NPR Music. Headlining their own tours, Mannequin Pussy and Hurray for the Riff Raff are debuting brand new albums this month. Both MP’s “I Got Heaven” and HFTRR’s album“The Past is Still Alive”, have received much praise and are acclaimed the best new music in 2024. HFTRR’s “The Past is Still Alive” features contributions from Nebraska’s own Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes), and a track titled “Ogallala”, that highlights singer’s Alynda Segarra’s time spent traveling and staying in the town in her younger years.

Indie garage punk quartet Shannon and The Clams are set to release their highly anticipated new album “The Moon is in the Wrong Place” on May 10. GRRRL CAMP’s lineup includes emerging artists. Annie DiRusso, Girl Ray, and Vial, as well as Ground Control artist Rosali are just some of the incredible upcomers. Rosali, the Philadelphia-based artist band arrangement incorporates musicians from Omaha including David Nance, Jim Schroeder and Kevin Donahue. Her newly released album “Bite Down” has been widely received by many with Stereogum stating, “…her smartest creative decision here might have been recruiting a crack backing band to bring the most out of her material…”.

GRRRL Camp is a genre-bending, gender-inclusive music festival focused on enlightening and exciting attendees through artistic expression, representation, and creative diversity. More festival programming TBA. Lineup announcement and tickets on sale Friday, April 19, at 10 a.m. CT at grrrlcamp.com. Follow GRRRL Camp on Instagram @grrrlcamp and Facebook @grrrlcampfestiva
